The Maheshwaran Memorial Trust has been constituted in the fond memory of Maheshwaran (T.No 16512), who has left us in a state of permanent bereavement last year.

Maheshwaran (T.No.: 16512) belonged to the 16th Batch Production in MIT(1992-95).

He is lovingly called “Anna” by the group due to his tall stature & taller achievements.

Maheshwaran was a top student, a very good athlete and his exploits continued into his professional side also. He had been so successful in his career that many of his peers revere him even today. Above all he was a very good human being with a good heart and seen by many of us as a role model.

This memorial foundation is a small token for his remembrance, we thought such an achiever can be honored only by trying to create more “role models” like him.

The trust has been formed by 16th batch PTians with active contributions from many Seniors and batch mates from other disciplines.

This is a registered trust under GOI Laws and started operations from February 2009.

The prime endeavor of the trust is to enable as much help as possible in the area of education. The initial focus is rather small, aiming at PT Department.

Assisting students from each year of Production Engineering with financial assistance

Providing any possible fiscal support to the Production Department to improve the facilities.

We hope to expand the scope further as we grow the capital for the trust.
